Warranty & Conditions
THE FOLLOWING ARE VALID FOR
USED ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS
- Used Engines and Transmissions are sold with a 3 Month/2500KM warranty, which ever comes first.
- This warranty is a replacement parts only warranty and does not cover towing, labour costs, freight costs, fees or charges.
- Used Engines and Transmissions are to be fitted correctly by a qualified motor mechanic.
- Used engines are to be fitted with a new timing belt where fitted
- Used engines must be fitted with new fan/drive belts when fitted.
- Used engines are to be fitted with new oil and air filters and fresh oil when fitted.
- Engine cooling systems must be operating at manufacturers specifications. ie use of correct coolant, new water pump or thermostat may be required.
- Used transmissions are to be fitted with a new filter, pan gasket and fluid when fitted.
- Ancillary parts and accessories fitted to used engines and transmission are for testing purposes only and are not covered by this warranty.
**NOTE** If any of the above requirements are not met, warranty will be void!
THE FOLLOWING ARE VALID FOR
USED PARTS
- USED MECHANICAL PARTS CARRY A 3 MONTH WARRANTY.
- ELECTRICAL ITEMS & SPECIALLY ORDERED ITEMS NO RETURN NO CREDIT
- ALL ITEMS SOLD REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF GERMAN WRECKING UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL.
- NO CASH REFUNDS
- WARRANTY COVERS PARTS ONLY & DOES NOT COVER LABOUR COSTS OR TOWING CHARGES.
- UNWANTED ITEMS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED IN “AS SOLD CONDITION” NOT LONGER THAN 7 DAYS FROM INVOICE DATE.
- REBUILT/RECONDITIONED ITEMS CARRY A 12 MONTH WARRANTY.
- NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT INVOICE!
**NOTE** If any of the above requirements are not met, warranty will be void!
